1. 부사절에서의 after
After는 shortly after, long after, a week after, a few day after와 같이 부사절에서 종종 사용됩니다.
- They started the job on 17 June and finisheda week after
2. after는 혼자서는 쓰이지 않는다.
After는 부사로서 혼자 사용되지 않습니다. 대신 afterwards, then 또는 after that 같은 표현으로 사용합니다.
- I'm going to to my exams, andafterwardsI'm going to study medicine.(NOT ... and after, I'm going...)
